# Quickstart: Open Community Settings

> Open the Settings modal, find the section you need, and make your first change to your Instaloops community in under a minute.

The Community Settings modal is the single place to configure your Instaloops community. This quickstart shows you how to open it and find any setting fast.

    Navigate to the community you want to configure from your Instaloops sidebar.

  <Step title="Click Settings">
    Click the **Settings** button in the community header. The Settings modal opens with the **Dashboard** tab active.

  <Step title="Search or browse">
    Use the search box in the sidebar (or press <kbd>⌘K</kbd> / <kbd>Ctrl+K</kbd>) to jump to any setting by name. Or browse the sidebar sections: **Overview**, **My Settings**, **Appearance**, **Growth**, **Monetization**, **Content**, and **Integrations**.

    Select a tab, edit the fields you need, and save. Some tabs autosave; others use a sticky **Save** bar that appears when you have unsaved changes.

## What you can configure

## Owner-only tabs

Some tabs are only visible to community owners and admins with **Manage settings** permission. Members see the **Overview** and **My Settings** sections. If a tab you expect is missing, ask your community owner to grant you access.
