Available default tabs

The following built-in tabs can be enabled or disabled:
  • Classroom — Course modules and learning content
  • Calendar — Events and scheduled activities
  • Map — Member locations and meetups
  • Apps — Third-party integrations and tools

Enable or disable a tab

1
Open the Tabs tab in Community Settings.
2
Find the tab you want to change in the Default Tabs list.
3
Click the row to toggle it on or off. Blue means visible; gray means hidden.
The toggle saves immediately and the navigation updates for all members.

Custom tabs

Below the default tabs, you can add custom navigation links. Each custom tab can link to an external URL or an embedded app. You can set visibility to Public, Members, Admins, or Draft, and restrict by pricing tier. Custom tabs support drag-and-drop reordering, or you can use the up and down arrows for precise control.

Tab visibility summary

At the bottom of the page, a summary shows how many tabs are currently visible in the community navigation, including the default Community tab plus any enabled defaults and custom tabs.
Hide tabs you are not using yet. You can always re-enable them later without losing any data.

Troubleshooting

Check your internet connection. The toggle should save immediately. If it keeps reverting, refresh the page and try again.
Make sure the URL starts with https://. Some sites block embedding in iframes, which may prevent them from loading inside the community.
Visibility changes apply immediately. If a member still sees a tab they should not, ask them to refresh the page. Tier restrictions only work if you have pricing tiers set up.
