The Dashboard tab gives you a real-time snapshot of your community’s health. Owners and admins see engagement stats, financials, and a reach chart; regular members see a lighter view without revenue data.
Community Dashboard showing metric cards, reach chart, and recent moments feed

What the dashboard shows

When your community has activity, the dashboard displays metric cards that hide any zero values. The cards can include:
  • Reach — total page views with period-over-period growth
  • New signups — opt-ins over the selected time range
  • Active members — percentage of members who engaged recently
  • Orders — total product sales (owner-only)
  • Total product sales — revenue with MRR breakdown (owner-only)
  • Total customers — paying members with engagement rate (owner-only)
Only community owners and admins with Manage settings permission can access this tab.

Change the time range

1
Open the Dashboard tab in Community Settings.
2
Click the period selector in the top right.
3
Choose Last 7 days, 14 days, 30 days, or 90 days.

Read the reach chart

Below the metric cards, the Reach over time chart shows daily or weekly page views. Toggle between Daily and Weekly views using the segmented control above the chart. Hover any bar to see the exact view count for that date.

Recent moments

The Recent moments feed lists the latest events in your community: new members, posts, comments, and orders. Each entry shows who performed the action and how long ago it happened.

Empty state

If your community is brand new and has no data, the dashboard shows a welcome hero with quick-start actions:
  • Invite your first members
  • Customize your community
  • Set community rules
  • Launch monetization (owners only)

Frequently asked questions

Cards with zero values are hidden automatically so the dashboard stays clean. Once your community generates activity in a category, the card will appear.
There is no export option in the Dashboard tab. For detailed records, use the Orders and Members sections of your community.
Most metrics update in near real time. The reach chart may lag by a few minutes during high-traffic periods.
Financial metrics are restricted to the community owner. Other admins see engagement and activity data only.
The banner appears when a positive signal is detected, such as climbing sales, growing signups, or expanding reach. It is a quick morale boost and context for what is working.

Troubleshooting

If your community is very new, there may not be enough activity yet. Check back after members join and interact. Also confirm you selected a range that includes the period when activity started.
The dashboard counts page views inside the Instaloops platform. External analytics may include additional traffic sources or filtering rules that differ from our counting logic.
The feed only shows events from the last few days. If nothing has happened recently, it will be blank. Trigger an event (for example, post a comment) to confirm the feed is working.
Financial cards are visible to the community owner only. If you are an admin without owner permissions, you will not see revenue data.
