Only community owners and admins with Manage settings permission can access this tab.
The Pricing tab in Community Settings lets you decide how members join and pay. Instaloops supports five models, from free communities to multi-tier subscriptions backed by Stripe.

Choose a pricing model

1
Open your community’s Settings modal and select Pricing.
2
Pick the model that fits your community:

Set subscription pricing

If you choose Subscription, enter:
  • Monthly price: the recurring monthly fee (set to 0 to hide it)
  • Yearly price: the annual fee, usually offered at a discount
  • Free trial: 0 to 30 days before billing starts
Changes save automatically after you stop typing.

Build pricing tiers

For Tiers or Freemium, add tiers that members can choose between.
1
Click Add tier to create a paid tier, or Add free tier for a no-cost option.
2
Enter a Tier name (for example, Pro or Starter).
3
Set the Monthly price. For free tiers, click Set a price to make it paid later.
4
Enter Included minutes if the tier grants AI or token credits each billing period.
5
Link to an existing Stripe product, or leave it on Auto-create on save.
If a Stripe sync warning appears, the local config is saved but checkout may still use the previously synced Stripe prices until the next successful sync.
Linking a tier to an existing Stripe product reuses that product’s real prices. When you select a Stripe product, Instaloops tries to match the monthly and yearly price from Stripe automatically.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. Changing the model updates the checkout experience for new members. Existing subscribers stay on their current plan until they cancel or upgrade.
Your tier names and prices are saved in Instaloops. The warning banner tells you which Stripe price could not be matched. Fix the mismatch in Stripe or re-save the tier to retry.
Yes. Paid tiers require Stripe to process payments. Connect Stripe in the InstaPay tab before you publish paid options.
Yes. Enter both prices when you set up the tier. If you leave one blank, that billing interval is hidden at checkout.
Included minutes grant AI or token credits to subscribers each billing period. Members on that tier receive the specified amount automatically when their subscription renews.

Troubleshooting

This means the tier price you entered does not match any active price on the linked Stripe product. Open the Stripe Dashboard, check the product’s active prices, and make sure the currency and amount match exactly. Then return to Instaloops and re-save the tier.
If you recently changed a tier price, the checkout page may cache the previous Stripe price ID for a few minutes. Click Sync Products in the InstaPay tab to force a refresh, then ask the member to reload the checkout page.
Make sure the trial length is set to a value between 1 and 30 days. A value of 0 means no trial. Also verify that the Stripe product linked to the tier has trial settings enabled if you are using an existing Stripe product.
Check that the tier has a name and a price greater than zero. Free tiers in a Tiers model still need a name. If you just saved, wait a few moments for the autosave to finish, then refresh the checkout page.
