Community rules set expectations for how members behave and interact. In Instaloops, rules appear on the community’s about page and during the join flow. Clear rules make moderation easier and help new members feel confident about contributing.
Only community owners and admins with Manage settings permission can access this tab.

FAQ

Most communities do well with 3 to 7 rules. Too many rules can overwhelm new members, while too few may leave expectations unclear. Start with the essentials and add more as your community grows.
Rules are shown during the join flow, but Instaloops does not require an explicit checkbox. Members see the rules on the about page and are expected to follow them.
Instaloops currently stores one version of each rule. If your community is multilingual, consider writing rules in your primary language or keeping the language simple and widely understood.
No automatic notification is sent when you edit or reorder rules. If you make a significant change, consider posting an announcement so current members are aware.

Troubleshooting

Rule titles must be 100 characters or fewer. Shorten the title and move extra detail into the description field.
Make sure you have saved the rules and that the about page is publicly visible. If the page is still missing rules, refresh the settings panel and verify the rule list is not empty.
Suggestions only appear when your community has no rules yet. Once you add at least one rule, the suggestion list is replaced by your existing rules.
